LEGION Simulator Help

Using Per-entity Data

  1. Add a Record Entity Positions track.
  2. Set a filename and choose a format (CSV or XML).

Since CSV output files are split by size, they must follow a naming convention. If you specify the output file name as "TEST", the first file is named TEST.csv and subsequent files, TEST_1.csv, TEST_2.csv and so on.

  3. Select attributes to record.

Attributes are categorised by what they describe about entities, with units, where sensible.

Note: Metrics such as "Target" and "Final Destination" are names of objects in LEGION simulations, rather than their positions.
  4. Set the time to record. You may set a full-length event or select Add a Record Entity Position event…, and manually drag the bar to cover the desired timeframe. If you need more than one time period, for instance, 08:00:00 to 08:30:00 and 09:15:00 to 09:45:00, you must add two, separate Record Entity Positions tracks, each with a separate filename and recording event. This is the same way the "Record .RES" and "Record .AVI" tracks work.
